Question 1

What is a micro-website?

Accepted Answer

A micro-website is a small, focused website with up to 7 pages designed specifically for your business. It includes everything a customer needs to find you: your services, photos, contact details, Google Maps, and a way to reach you via WhatsApp or email.

Question 2

What does $120 a year include?

Accepted Answer

Everything. Up to 7 professionally designed pages, a photo gallery, contact form, WhatsApp integration, Google Maps, SEO optimisation, a professional business email address on your own domain, mobile-friendly design, security updates, backups, maintenance, and your listing in the OurByo directory.

Question 3

Do I own the website?

Accepted Answer

You own all your content (text, photos, logo). The website itself is hosted and maintained on the OurByo platform as part of your annual subscription. If you stop subscribing, the site is deactivated, but your content remains yours.

Question 4

Can I update my content?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Simply send us your changes via WhatsApp or email, and we will update your micro-site for you. Content updates are included in your annual fee.

Question 5

What happens if I stop paying?

Accepted Answer

Your micro-website will be taken offline when your subscription expires. We keep your content for 90 days in case you want to renew. After 90 days, it may be permanently removed.

Question 6

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Typically 7 working days from the time we receive your content (logo, photos, descriptions, and contact details). If you provide everything quickly, we can often be faster.

Question 7

What do I need to provide to get started?

Accepted Answer

Your business logo (any format), photos of your products or premises, a description of your business and services, and your contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email, physical address).

Question 8

Can I have a custom domain instead?

Accepted Answer

Your micro-site lives at ourbyo.co.zw/your-business-name by default. If you want a custom domain (e.g., yourbusiness.co.zw), we can discuss that as an add-on.

Question 9

Is the website mobile-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Every OurByo micro-website is designed mobile-first. It looks great on phones, tablets, and desktops, because that is how most people in Bulawayo and Zimbabwe browse the internet.

Question 10

Will my business show up on Google?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every page is SEO optimised with proper titles, descriptions, and structured data. Combined with a Google My Business profile, your OurByo micro-site significantly improves your visibility on Google searches for Bulawayo.
